CAA Area Assessment

The Discover the Spirit (DtS) Board
The Discover the Spirit (DtS) Board is Doncaster’s Local Strategic Partnership. DtS Board is dedicated to improving the quality of life for everyone in the borough by bringing together the key people in the public, private, community and voluntary sectors. Its aim is to deliver the goals of the Sustainable Borough Strategy.
DtS Board also oversees the management of Doncaster’s Local Area Agreement shared priorities. The LAA is the delivery plan for the Borough Strategy over the next three years.
There are five theme boards leading on key aspects of the shared priorities:
- Younger Doncaster
- Safer Doncaster
- Healthier Doncaster
- Enterprising Doncaster
- Stronger & Sustainable Doncaster
Individual delivery organisations (e.g. the Council, the Police and the Third Sector) are accountable to the Theme Boards for delivering the actions to achieve the priorities.
