What does the DtS Board do?
The DtS Board oversees the partnership as a whole and makes sure that effort and activity is directed where it is needed the most.
The Board meets approximately every six weeks.
The DtS Board:
Takes the lead in identifying priorities, and in monitoring and coordinating community consultation and engagement
Produces the Borough Strategy – to establish a shared local vision
Produces a Local Area Agreement (LAA)
Has oversight of local planning and alignment of resources where relevant to the Borough Strategy and LAA
Reviews and performance manages progress against the priorities and targets of the LAA, and ensure delivery arrangements are in place for achieving them
Ensures that we have the right infrastructure to function and deliver
Ensures cross cutting challenges are progressed within the partnership
The Board is supported in this by a group which is made up of officers from all the organisations that make up the DtS Partnership. This officers group meets around a week after each DtS Board meeting.
